Redback Surf kicked off back in the 90s on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, right in the middle of a buzzing surf scene around Newport and Mona Vale. It took its name from the iconic Aussie redback spider, and from the get-go, the brand was all about bold style and having fun—“There’s no antidote for fun,” as they say. Redback designed gear that was tough, affordable, and easy to use, whether you were already shredding or new to surfing.

These guys made a splash by introducing the first affordable, high-temp vulcanised EVA slick bodyboard—pretty ground breaking stuff for bodyboarding. Redback became famous for their soft surfboards and foam boards, especially the Malibu and Revolution series, which are heaps or fun for advanced learners wanting to perfect their style; and great for experienced surfers in sloppy conditions or wanting to mix up there quiver and catch more waves. Their lineup grew to include bodyboards, surfboards, longboards, skimboards, SUPs, leashes, and surf mats, all rocking vibrant designs that scream Aussie surf culture.

The patented slick shape provides two unique benefits the first being the speed and agility from the single concave which separates to two speed channels down either side.
